LSFD training event.  Event will focus on Water and Mountain Rescues and the techniques and tricks that you have at your disposal as EMS to make your job easier for these types of calls. All EMS that have completed their 2 days of training are welcome to come and join us for this training. Hope to see you all there!

ALL RANKS ARE WELCOME - Recruits especially. Corporals/FTS will be assigned to coach recruits so please attend.
FTS+ - If you are interested in a group lead role, please contact any Sergeant atleast 3 days in advance.
Schedule: -
Pit training and practice
Training for follow up after a successful pit
Rolling barricade training and practice
Scene management using vehicles (blocking roads/highways until the wreckage's are cleared and it is safe to re-open)

Depending on attending members experience we may move to live action chases to simulate what we will encounter on the streets of LS.

    

We will be holding a training for all EMTs who have completed their day 1 trainings. The training will be a scenario based training focusing on different aspects of EMS. The training will be held on the training server and the IP will be posted in discord.

Group Lead positions have been filled. 
Schedule: -
At Sandy Shores airport hangar, we will do a demonstration with some heavier class vehicles. Weaknesses/Strengths etc.
We will cover:
• How to assess the situation and organise your backup to succesfully bring the chase to a close.
• How to know when to step up the use of force against the vehicle. Spikestrips Vs Shooting tires.
• How to communicate with each other when faced with a vehicle of this calibre and keep each other safe.

Depending on the turn out we will have two teams and will be using the highways to practice these pursuits and train you in tactics used to safely conduct yourselves during these situations.
 
Positions for the driving as civilians will be most likely given to Seniors/Staff to keep the training focused.
