Pretty simple, imo melee weapons are to strong for the fact of the lock-on mechanic. It used to get abused quite a bit by a LOT of people not as much anymore, however there are still some that do abuse it. Think it would be great to remove the lock-on because people do a lot of cheesy stuff with melee.
