House Robbery system like Boosting

Burglary is a staple in the criminal world.
I think a house robbery system that is reminiscent of other systems within the city, with limits of number of active jobs.

Maybe even items that you can sell to the pawn shop or something.

+1 this idea

My only ask is that it doesn't give burglars access to player storage, its already super fun getting pocket wiped, getting house wiped would just be even more fantastically awful.

I know that kind of shuts down some potential RP, so I'd be curious to hear some ideas on how that could be moderated.

I think it would be cool it just make players houses robbable but it would be non-storage items.. Players could get security notifications, but that's a whole lot of development and has possibility of player power-gaming agreements like "you rob mine, i rob yours"

i think a "go rob this house and bring me this itemand then you would steal additional items that are considered profit and turn in a single item for reward with the contractor. Of course then you would have to sell these items through various mechanics or specific players / businesses..
