With other job items such as dynamite for the blast mines and shovels for gardening, you can assign it to the hotbar and use is from there but for some reason with seeds you cannot. The small time taken to open pockets everytime and drag over the seeds to "use" one by one feels like at least 30-40% of my time farming and as such an inconvenience that serves no purpose.
