Hunting Ideas

Hi, iv been on the server for around 4 months now and I just figured I would share some ideas in regards to hunting. I have already made a forum post on this before but in case I had missed anything I wanted to make another.

So some key themes I realize in the hunting world is that nobody wants to hunt anything other than boar, they are big slow animals that make the most money per hide. I feel as if there should be incentives to hunt other game rather than just boar. I understand that there are already rare items you can get in game for hunting various animals ( rabbits foot, tusk, etc), but when you are hunting in game there are distinct model differences between doe and bucks that would almost lead you to believe you should get antler from a large buck. I think this should be true. Hunters IRL aim to hunt the largest deer they can find (mostly bucks). Same with any other animal such as boar, turkey, elk, etc. Killing these larger animals imo should have special drops for your efforts.

Hunting is also extremely limited, I found it extremely appealing when I first found the server that hunting was incorporated that I made a specific character for sandy. Though I was disappointed at the option of weapons, game, bait and equipment. My biggest issue is with the hunting rifle. This is the only rifle that is issued to kill all animals and it is chambered in 30-06 which if you know a little bit about guns you would know that if  you went and shot a rabbit with it you wouldn't have a rabbit . I think it would be cool to see other rifles incorporated based on game. Such as a .22 long rifle for rodent and rabbit, shotgun (buck shot or slug) or .223 rifle for deer, .308 for boar, etc. All would require different rifles/shotguns to hunt for proper yield.
