The duties of staff members include, but are not limited to the following: Contribute ideas toward server direction, development priorities, and rule changes Assist players in "scuffed" situations (waterlogged cars, incapacitated in unreachable places, etc) Assist players with issues in /ooc Respond to /report calls Monitor in game for rule breaks Coach, warn, or ban players when necessary Review and take action on player reports Respond to ban appeals and other support tickets Participate in server run staff events (storming Fort Zancudo, Merryweather transports, etc) We're looking for the best of our community to join the team and continue to make Badlands great. John#1234 @timr): Where are you from? How old are you? Are you more interested in being a Moderator or Support Staff member? Why do you want to be a Staff Team Member? What can you bring to the team? How long have you played on BadlandsRP? Which faction do you primarily play (civilian, criminal, LEO, DOC, DOJ, LSFD)? When (including timezone), and how long do you usually play? Please give a synopsis of your characters, what they do, groups or factions they are affiliated with. How much time per week can you dedicate to your role as a BadlandsRP Staff Team Member? When is the best time to contact you for an interview, if necessary? Scenario Questions These questions should be answered from your perspective as a player. For these questions, suppose you are not a staff member and have no access to any staff tools. You're playing a criminal character and are in a pursuit trying to escape the police after robbing a bank. One of your gang members has a game crash and disconnects. How do you continue in this case? What, if anything, do you say to the police? Suppose you are a male roleplayer with an in-character girlfriend. While at the hospital, an obviously new player starts hitting on your girlfriend and asking for her number. She refuses, and the player calls her a very rude name. How do you respond to this situation? While driving around in roleplay you notice a large group of people stopped on the side of a road. You stop to see what they're doing and you observe them jumping through a wall with no collision and laughing about it. What do you say to these people? What else do you do in this situation? You and your gang members are exploring a new mechanic added to the server. While messing around, you get a notification that says "You're missing 3 green wires, 4 red wires, and a wrench". How do you convey this to your gang? Optional Questions If you could introduce one new mechanic to the server, what would it be and why? If you could introduce one new rule to the server, what would it be and why? If you could introduce one new job to the server, what would it be and why? If you could change one thing about criminal life on the server, what would it be and why? If you could change one thing about LEO life on the server, what would it be and why? Please put as much effort as possible into your application. A couple of paragraphs about your history and why you want to be a team member is much better than one or two sentences.
