Introducing: Los Santos Law Review

Hello all, I would like to introduce a new publication I have been working on bringing to life. This publication is the Los Santos Law Review, the preeminent scholarly journal publishing high quality legal writing regarding the state's written laws as they currently exist. This journal will serve as a place for citizens, lawyers, and public officals to publish well thought out commentary and suggestions to improve our state justice system. The publication will be structured much like Law Reviews in contemporary legal academia, but if you are unfamiliar with their work I am happy to provide insight.

FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION

The Editorial Board is pleased to announce the launch of the Los Santos Law Review, a new scholarly journal dedicated to rigorous legal analysis of the laws of the State of Los Santos as they are written, interpreted, and enforced.

The Los Santos Law Review aspires to serve as the State’s preeminent forum for serious legal thought. Modeled on the structure and standards of contemporary legal academia, the Review will publish original articles, essays, and notes examining statutory design, constitutional structure, criminal justice policy, and institutional reform. Submissions are welcomed from citizens, practicing attorneys, judges, public officials, and scholars alike.

Our mission is not advocacy for any single faction, but the improvement of the State’s justice system through careful reasoning, principled critique, and informed debate.

Our operation will be sentered at the University of San Andreas, Los Santos.

The Los Santos Law Review is now accepting expressions of interest for the following editorial roles:

Editor-In-Chief: Bren Vaught

Responsible for overall editorial direction, final publication decisions, and instiutional leadership.

Managing Editor: Vacant

Oversees production schedules, citation integrity, and internal editorial processes

Articles Editor: Vacant

Reviews, selects, and substantively edits submitted manuscripts for publication.

These positions are purely voluntary and are best suited to someone interested in publishing high quality legal writing. Prior editorial or legal experience is welcome but not required; commitment to careful writing and intellecutal curiousity is essential. Citizens interested in joining the Editorial Board or submitting work for future issues are encouraged to make contact. Those unfamiliar with law review conventions are welcome, guidance and mentorship will be provided.

Additionally, we include with this announcement our innaugural article "Criminalizing Mobility: Why Mandatory Incarceration for Unlicensed Driving in Los Santos is Unjust and Discriminatory" by our very own editor in chief, Bren Vaught.

The Los Santos Law Review looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the legal life of the State.
