Tomas GarcÃa
We all have RP and that comes first. We are here in badlands to have fun, but that implies that when we generate a big scenes we should be ready to stay during the duration of it. There are no exact times of how long something will last but think it through before jumping into something. Let's put an example: Starting a store robbery, will usually lead to interaction with cops. If that interaction is hostile tends to lead to a longer scene than a peaceful one. If the hostile interaction leads to going down, then EMS is required and after EMS, PD very likely will have to deal with the suspect. And after that, chances are that jail is where the individual ends.  If then you wanna log once in the jail, great. But calling having to go when you go down after the robbery, could be a way to try to combat log. And certainly PD and EMS is here to RP. Having to rush a scene into click "Heal", "Send to jail" it's not fun for those RPlaying the Emergency services. And that happens with any big scene. Doesn't matter if PD is involved or not. A good RP practice is to find a IC excuse to get away from the group and then log. No rules about it, you can just log on someone's face unless a hostile scene is going on, but yet is about good practices. If PD or EMS are involved then it's the same as a hostile action, logging of could be considered combat logging. So think it twice before you get into something big. If you have time, then go for it and enjoy.
