Hamchi
From my experience, I feel like there should be a lockpicking mini game for hotwiring cars -Â like there is for lockpicking car doors. I felt this way because it seems in certain situations the RNG can be really fuck you over in scenarios where it could ruin a chase for example. I've personally had it fail on me 3 times in a row. I'm not too concerned about this so I don't really mind if this gets changed or not but I think it would be nice if you could hotwire it yourself somehow - also consider how long you have to wait for the hotwire for the random chance of it working. dK_
I agree with the mini game aspect but I feel like it should take longer then lockpicking or else someone could just scoop a car in less then 30 seconds
Shipz_
45 seconds to a min is about normal.
r3v0Lt55
I steal probably about 10-20 cars a day generally when I play on my criminal character. I honestly enjoy stealing cars in its current format. Once inside the car and starting the first lock pick I love the feeling of not knowing if it is going to work or not, then it fails and the adrenaline starts pumping and you start getting nervous cause its taking longer than you hoped for and you start the 2nd lock pick. The anticipation starts to build as you are hoping and praying that this 2nd one does the trick. Then your gutted when the 2nd fails, the paranoia starts to set in and you have to make a decision if you are going to start a 3rd or if your going to bail and leave the area. For me this experience is drastically better than pressing E 5 times. And lets be honest 90% of the time you get away ez pz, I live for that 10% though
