Do0mH4mmer
I've been thinking since hunting has increased the amount of people in the mountain regions of Blaine County, it appears that EMS has been risking their lives trying to cope with the amount of people falling down mountains and being attacked by animals. It would seem prudent even necessary to maybe have a specific service to engage in the more treacherous and difficult rescues. For example today I had to assist an ems as they weren't able to get to a couple of downed individuals as their vehicles weren't capable. I myself would happily enter a volunteer mountain rescue department I have also spoken to a few other people in character who also have said they would consider the same. If you guys think this has some merit and a service like this would help the already over stretched EMS service. Please contact me.
Yama
I really love to hear people are willing to help us out! We do have a Search & Rescue certification for our AEMTs, which does allow us to use vehicles that are better suited for difficult terrain. (Jeep, helicopter, boats) If that's something you're interested in, we're always looking for more recruits! I think as Hunting and Fishing develop more and when the laws and law enforcement start falling into place, the massive influx of mountain calls will level out. Hopefully meaning less stressed EMS and more trained SAR EMTs.
