Buyable Parachutes? Hear me out...

Hey guys!

 

I am one of the few people in the city who loves my aircraft, I also love skydiving if I have a second pilot. Currently in the city there's old rickety parachutes you can find here and there that are very inconsistent. I was hoping that maybe there could be somesort of a shop where you could purchase Parachutes and say repair kits at airports. I was thinking between 3-5k for a parachute, that way the old ones still have a use. It's take a risk or payup.

+1 If we go by "You get what you pay for" analogy then this would be perfect.Not sure how inconsistent parachutes rn are but people should be given the choice to buy quality ones since them failing would be technically losing their lives.

PS Smoke trails unless they are causing issues can also be brought back :v they are cool asf

I believe that the current parachutes seem to become unreliable the longer you take to pull them after grabbing them and/or the more interactions and emotes you perform with your character in between when you grab and use them.

Me and my group once attempted a vangelico robbery escape with parachutes off a crane. We tried and tested the shoots from the same jump. Worked perfectly fine for all 5 of us. We do the robbery which involved taking more time before using them + interacting with RP with the cops such as emotes and hacking/breaking cases. The shoots then did not work for all 5 of us and we took a fat L but at least it was hilarious.

the issue seems unrelated to the topic but this would be metagaming. gotta learn that stuff in character
