Ben Williams
I think it would be a good idea to make the mechanics job a whitelist job because that mean you'll have to learn the ways of being a mech and learn some knowledge of how a vehicle operates. this would boost the RP within the server and stop this in and out in 2 mins type of RP as this isn't good for the city in my opinion. people need to put a little bit more effort into the situation instead of doing it for the quick cash. this is all my opinion and id love to hear what everyone's opinion on the matter. Yama
+1 Definitely seems like the next big step. Repair shops are businesses, they're also major RP hubs, it makes sense that they should get a bit more legit. I'd also love to see people start working at the Benny's around town! My only concern is you'll start to run into those times where none of the mechanics are on-duty. Instead of having those "2 minute RP" mechanics to fill the gaps, you'll be stuck with the large repair bill. Plus, mechanic is also a fantastic starting job for newcomers. They meet new people, practice their RP, and hopefully start making connections. I feel like it's one of the few "legal" jobs left open to everyone that can get as much interaction as restaurants without being in a faction. N0ble
+1 on this It's a good idea no doubt, having some whitelist only jobs to encourage people to whitelist and officially join the community. Although I can see how it'd also drive the new guys away so there is both a plus and a minus. But beside that yes!
ShesElectrick
I would love for mechanics to be whitelisted, so long as they can hire anyone. A lot of the whitelisted or businesses can't/won't hire felon's, so making mechanic able to hire anyone regardless of record would be important.
