Adjusting how LEO responds to the "Reject" ping (DRUGS)

Recommended Posts

I would like to start by saying this is not me trying to bash or insult any of the LEO in the city BCSO or LSPD this is simply how myself and many of the other criminals who have had this happen feel. The pier is one of the best spots to sell your drugs at without a doubt lots of locals, large area and multiple people can sell. However it has one large flaw it has the one way in and out being the bridge and as it is surrounded by water jumping is at your own risk. Now when a local rejects your drugs the police get a ping. Alright cool that makes sense but what does not make sense is how the LEO responds to the ping. LSPD likes to park up and watch you sell then catch you in the act which is more realistic it also gives US the Crims a chance to rp out a scene with the LEO or to attempt to flee. BCSO likes to drive in full speed over the bridge/pier weaving around the locals walking on it and right up to your heels which removes almost all of the chance to RP the scene out as anything but selling drugs and takes away the chance to flee. I've been told now that BCSO and LSPD don't have jurisdictions that prohibit them from going anywhere which I get cause they help eachother in the city. I just don't agree with a LEO just full sending it down the pier to catch one guy who maybe selling drugs. Whats he gonna do jump off the pier and swim away? Just wait on the beach.. No reason to endanger locals to apprehend some guy selling drugs instead setup a scene watch them sell and move in on them tactically. Because if you ask me the way LEOs respond to the reject ping from a local is fail RP you wouldn't full send in your car towards the suspect allegedly selling drugs in real life so why would you in city..

If an LEO is responding to your location it means A: they directly saw you pass something off to a local, B: another LEO witnessed you directly pass something off and reported it to the responding unit. We do not respond full code to any reports of possible drug activity without witnessing some sort of pass off first. If you felt someone was too aggressive with how they responded, and its entirely possible someone did, we're not perfect here but i would encourage to use the resources on the forum to file an IA report on said LEO. IA reports arn't to just get people in trouble, sometimes and LEO might not even know they're doing something wrong and the whole thing can be solved in a short conversation about it. Unfortunately those of us who can have those discussions arn't around for every scene so we rely on IA reports to look into the situation. I can tell you myself and the majority of officers initial response to any sort of calls about potential drug activity is to investigate the scene fully, including having some sort of conversation with the potential suspect before any sort of arrest is facilitated.

You say flaw, I say "risk in selling in such a honey pot of locals"
