Whitelisted Gangs.

I feel like if you want a big “Gang” let’s say over the size of 5. You should have to have your gang whitelisted to the server. It stops random gangs happening, and it stops new gangs just recruiting everyone. 

 

There was a new gang that started up for like 2 weeks and had around 18 members in and they were just random people who haven’t known each other. I feel like this would give more control to the city as well. Also that group has disbanded now, but I think they claimed Elgin machine shop…

 

In the whitelist application you can have; 

Gang Location:

Gang Backstory:

Leader / Leaders: 

Gang Colours: 

and you can add more on what you think. But I genuinely feel like this will help out a lot, and it’ll add a lot to RP. Because your gang will make sense, the backstory of your gang could match the people who are in your gang. Also I feel like it’ll add a uniqueness to the gangs as well, it’ll be nice to see what everyone thinks.

I don’t think this will solve the random gangs popping up and being shit lords. They can still roll around together as many people as they want regardless of whitelist.

I don't feel as though gangs/motorcycle clubs should be whitelisted, because if you think about it like jp stated won't stop them from popping up.

Seems like bad attempt at gate keeping that only favors established groups and denies new opportunities for rp.  Good example is that I came into this server with 10+ people from a different server as a gang.

Yeah I'd be a -1 on this. I personally don't mind the random gangs coming about. If Gangs want to become bigger or more established, there's already existing ways to do it.
