Hopefully useful ideas

Since I have 250+ hrs on badlands i had some time to think about some things i would like to see in the server.

These are just my ideas that came in my mind at some point while playing.

As well as i'm gonna try to be as short as possible to waste your time as less as possible.

So,

Death

Should be more scary. If you are down you have given some time (10 or 20 min for example) to wait for ems while you're bleeding out. After that - that's it. You're done. Respawn as a new player. Maybe even some cool down time (like 1 day for example) or something like that. It sounds really rough , but isn't death like that ? For even more RP, if you are down by melee weapon timer is 20 min, if from a gun - 10 min. You know , cause you bleed out faster. (Idk if game mechanics allow something like this)

Drug selling

In real life , if you buy more at once , price per one unit is lower. So, if you are selling drugs (weed for example) it would be cool if there would be options like ''sell 1 for 120'' and ''sell 10 for 1k (100 per unit)''

Other persons trunk access

It shouldn't be with permission unless vehicle is locked. Because in real life if car is unlocked , you can take whatever you want , right ?

Crime records (I think this could be pretty important and easy to achieve)

Discord text channel (everyone can see it but only police can post in it). And this is how it could work. One officer (probably one who's highest rank) is the controller of that channel. Creates new message like: 

Badlands Crime Record: 

Person X - Crime 1 (date) (Arrest by officer A)

Then, when Officer B arrests Person Y , he writes a message in that channel in same way as previous one. Person in charge reads that message , updates crime record and deletes Officer's B message. And maybe adds like ''Last updated (date)''. So the crime record is easy to read. And crimes would delete after some time (1 week maybe). And if crime record stacks up , dispatch (if there is one) could provide with information about crime record.

 

 

So, again, these are just some random ideas that came up in my mind. I'm not asking you guys to like these ideas or get to work right away. That's just my opinion and i thought it would be cool to see some of this in server.

I agree with most of this. The thing i don't agree with is the death timer, as this int a hardcore RP server, so that shouldn't be a thing.

I really like the crime record thing though, that seems like a good idea.

They have plans for some kind of criminal records (afaik). It's would be a nice thing to have but def not in that way. Using something on-duty that makes you alt+tab is never a good idea tbh. At least I personally hate "alt tabbing".
