Paint In LS Customs

For an increased price have a matte, metalic, annd clasic option to open an RGB panel to put in values and buy a custom paint job. What do you all think?

It's a good idea, but I think the coding for that would have to be highly ambitious.

Probably. I don't think it's been done, and really I'm surprised Rockstar didn't have that feature to begin with.

in GTA Online you have a limited range of custom colors for crews

I did a little more research on this.

 

So, the way colors work are like this:

For paint, there's a specific set of coded colors.  The paint doesn't work off of an RGB color code. The list can be seen here:

There are single player mods that have been made to accomplish what you're asking, but they're very buggy and the user interface on these mods look like absolute dog shit.  So, it's possible to code this in but it's a lot of work for little reward.  The only aspect of car customization that runs off an RGB or HEX code is the neon colors.

Are we really lacking in color options? Doesn't seem like it to me.
