Backstory Part 1:

 

Patricio Costello's mother was a poor grape picker on the Island of Sicily just off the boot of Italy, but what Valentina Manscotti lacked in finances made up in beauty 10 fold. It didn't take long for Vinny Costello to take notice of her beauty; he simply could not resist her despite already having a son Joshua Costello with another wife. It wasn't terribly long before the two had conceived Patricio, at first Vinny had kept Patricio and Valentina a secret from his wife. Despite being kept a secret Vinny kept Patricio close at his side safe from danger and always in school growing up. After Patricio graduated high-school Vinny decided to send Patricio to New York City to attend the New York University for his Masters degree in Business management as Patricio was always great at math in school. With all of this money and time invested into Patricio Vinny's wife began to suspect that he was Vinny's son.. she immediately knew it was Valentina, Valentina's death to this day remains a mystery. After Completing College in New York City Patricio returned to Sicily to the safety of his father's lands where it was revealed to him that Vinny was his father and his long time best friend Joshua Costello was in fact his half brother. Vinny and Joshua took no time to show Patricio the illegal aspect of the family business it wasn't long before Patricio became a deadly shot and key Consigliere for the Costello family in Sicily; his already great aptitude for math and Master Degree in Business Management made him rise to power within the family extremely fast. he was simply irreplaceable. As time and years passed on the Costello family desired to move onto fresh grounds and expand their wine and illegal drug distribution networks to none other than San Andreas California commonly known as Los Santos. Vinny had Tasked his son's Joshua and Patricio with leading the Masses on their new found territory.
