  1. Wasnt apart of the raid, but from what i've been reading PD snuck the chopshop raid in without anyone knowing about that and being one of the actual groups who defended it and informed properly about it five months back and it brings feelings that there is no point in defending a location if a couple weeks/months down the road they will just roll up with no warning and seize it and being there is no "official leak" about it there is nothing that can be done per server rules against it which gives the impression as a slight against the people who were there five months back if anything its demoralizing knowing that its back to the easter egg hunt which is painfully boring or wait until some random person stumbles onto the spot sells it or if the planets align for you have one of your friends/allies stumble onto it and get some decent roleplay interactions about the spot. Again not really sure if its a popular thought but I feel like the vast majority of people are not against these public spots for drugs/chopshops but people want a system in place for established groups to have a more streamline production/distribution/package system because there are multiple groups Big Hawks Militia/ 305/ Pandas (And Others) that do major drug production and sales and having them blocked from that roleplay.  TLDR: sneaky raids are disrespectful to established groups who hold that territory, Possibly allow a way for gangs to streamline drugs/chopshops so they are not rp crippled and forced to blindly run around looking for drug spots and leave those to the solo players.
  2. Literal legend who summed up everything wrong and to be improved for taxi cab drivers.
  3. I can tell as a long time employee of big hawks taxi the taxi job needs a major overhaul not everyone wants to be a criminal and there are major downtimes saying you should not rely on NPCs for this job is like saying do not rely on NPCs for drug dealing or animals for hunting it's a major part of the job, the fact is the company of big hawk taxi should have a higher pay because you have to roleplay to get the job and be vetted by staff, plus we have to be creative just to get people to call taxis this is a major problem... It's embarrassing how little the job pays and I can safely say for me and the rest of big hawks taxi we want more for our workers because as of now it's painful.
  4. Whelp after what just happened at sandy, if you cant figure out why gangs don't bother trying to do rp scenarios and just start shooting then I dont know what to tell yeah...Â
  5. Completely missed the point... I know that not every warrant looks like this but the attitude is there is a must win stigma with the cops from them trickling in one by one by one when a LSPD/BCSO goes down to even though the guy is disguised or has his face covered we know who it is because voice id, to breaking out bulletproof bus's/cars for transports It just takes the fun out of it, when you know the end result of no matter what you do is going to be the max you will have criminals just say screw it im going out blazing because I know I wont get any wiggle room.
  6. Gonna quote one of the recent lines on one of my warrants...  "### **Brief Summary** UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AT ALL !!!!ABSOLOUTLY NO TIME OR RESTITUTION OFF NO MATTER WHAT!!!!! FULL 60 MONTHS, 15k Restitution"  Now when you see something like this frequently why wouldn't a criminal just say screw it and stab a cop in response to the excessive force?  Â
  7. This happens because its a 5v10... I don't know about you but when the odds are already stacked against you and its not meant to be easy criminals have to find ways to compensate and cops do have ways of compensating, I just wish the bus broke down faster for prison transports, half the time DOC or LSPD/BCSO keep driving when all the tires are blown and it just turns into a skateout to get into the gates and secure the football, if the bus actually managed to get disabled perhaps there would be less of a need to stay within the vehicles.
  8. Can tell you some of these are already being done with gangs, with some groups just gonna go through each suggestion from top down. 1: turf is 100% needed a area to call your stomping grounds for any and all groups is important allows people to come and interact with you so onboard with you, but I also don't want to deny cops rp if they have hard investigation rp to prove that a place is being used for illegal activities. 2: Landgrabs is a idea im not really fond of I have seen them in other servers and it turns into hide in a corner until you have influence its unrewarding and does come off as demoralizing, plus as described earlier it would bring alot more gang wars over something scripted rather then organic from in character beef. 3: I hate the grind but i enjoy interacting with people who rely on grinding materials to make income. 4: I know the feeling where it can come off as it forces you into a position where you cant help your mates from another gang, but that rule is in place because some gangs were using other groups to fight their wars and settle the beef they started, the intent of that rule is to avoid making a convoluted mess for gang task force for the police to figure out who is fighting who for investigation rp. Â Now onto the illegal activity/jobs Grand Theft Auto:Â Big fan of this something other then the current grind of steal specific car chop specific car is fun gives cops a specific bolo for a unique car and some need for speed style chases. Armored Car:Â Ive seen armored cars in other servers I can tell you its a dumpsterfire id avoid this like the plague just turns into TDM. Large Drug/Weapon Deals:Â Done some of these with mysterious characters in game and its fun roleplay, not sure how I would feel if its automated/scripted but im always for creating more roleplay for cops I just don't want it to be a one sided money grind sort of thing. Store Robberies:Â You can technically do smash and grabs with some stores but I like interacting with police, if your suggestion is somthing along the lines of just robbing cash out of the register that would be abused and block people from doing normal 7/11 store robberies so this im not really a fan of.
  9. Alot of planning on the criminal side went into how things panned out, genuinely dont know why the random groups decided to show up but these things happen in raids  But perhaps a more streamline approach for raids because it felt like it took a long time for the police to commit to breaching which is understandable, the trailers in some areas may have been abit much it wouldn't nearly have been as bad if they didnt decide to become jumping beans but aside from that scuff It was fun leadup to it was even better got some real good rp out of it.
  10.   Just gonna leave that there, but its not up to the player base to decide what the reward should be these are only suggestions the main point of these consistent grievances is that the current reward feels non existent, but hawk did bring up a very good point criminals have more to lose then gain for holding these places of interests and I can tell you guns are more valued then drugs at any point in terms of bringing roleplay and material cost. Â
  11. Ello, this is my personal view regarding raids on public illegal gathering/chopshop spots regarding the current rules as listed and here is my thoughts/view regarding the state of it, If anyone else has feedback or thoughts regarding how to improve raids I'd love to hear it but this is from the perspective of a criminal player, I am sure cop players have grievances as well and I'd actually like to hear what they have issues with.  Issue #1: No clear rules regarding raids on public illegal spots: Currently the only rule regarding raiding is "Gangs are allowed to have up to ten active hostile members if and only if the LSPD communicates a coordinated raid on your gangs hideout." But being this is not considered a gang hideout it defaults back to the five man limit per gang but then the question becomes are multiple gangs allowed to defend it because it would break the five man rule so perhaps some clarifications in that regard would be appreciated, this also applies to cops because there is no clear limit on how many people are allowed into the situation.  Issue #2: High risk low reward: I personally feel that the reward for holding out against a raid is non existent gangs for the most part will more often then not let the raid happen just because the end result would be the raid being pushed back to a later date within 1-2 weeks at a different hour/day, If criminals involved were able to be rewarded with a way to have some input on the relocation of the spots instead of a blanket inevitability of the place being raided again perhaps it would encourage more people to actually defend it.  Issue #3: Rejoining the raids after going down: This I feel should be addressed, because when you are against the hivemind and raiding multiple spots in one night and there is no way to realistically slow them down or deter a raid its demoralizing to even try to have a holdout against police because it will just inevitably continue, I could be wrong but that is what I gathered from reviewing the rules.  Issue #4: No risk for the cops: As far as I am aware there is no risk of failure in regards to loss to the law enforcement side if a police raid ends poorly, the entire weight of the risk of loss is entirely on the criminals as a personal suggestion adding some form of risk for the departments who have police raids end up terribly would be interesting from a outside perspective.  Sorry if this dragged on I look forward to hearing what people have to say try to keep it positive and constructive instead of a venting/rage thread I genuinely made this post just to give my thoughts on how to better raids for all parties involved.
