Razec
Howdy folks!  Since the latest hunting patch, a few vehicles have boosted in appearance, such as off-roads. Off-road vehicles gained a new purpose, since they are being used to climb steep surfaces and reach places you could never before in any old sports car. The problem is, there still seems to be unfair grounds to be covered. You can still easily drive a 4 door sports sedan up Mount Chilliad with no real issue.  We, as a community, are constantly striving to be more realistic and more immersive. With that in mind, most of our time is spent in driving from place to place. Now, more than ever, might be the best moment to present a more realistic shift in driving, giving vehicles actual purpose, rather than just something to show off to your friends. Super cars and sports cars are built to have more traction in open/cement paved roads. Realistically, however, you can't send your 800 HP machine up a hill. The way the base game works it's ways is by only considering the speed, but not the traction. Speeding up a car on a dirt road, realistically, doesn't work the way we see it in game. The wheels spin, but the vehicle barely even moves. With that in mind, there would be more care into the process of how we purchase and operate vehicles.  The following video showcases the possibility of a new off-road experience:  It values the off-road vehicles as off-roaders and properly sends the sport cars back to where they actually belong. This is merely a sample of what could be. Let's take a real example from what we currently have: Have you ever driven the Dinka Double-T on a dirt road? At least from the last time I tested it, it had no traction whatsoever. No matter how hard you break, the motorcycle would keep going agaisnt a muddy road. There's no traction to it. And that, at least to some extent, could be applied to non off-road worthy vehicles. That way, we won't see people boosting up Mount Chilliad with their 2 doors sports car. It makes no sense for a car, with especially no Off-road tires or even decent suspension, to be actually able to make it up that mountain. This way, we actually feel and understand the vehicles we are driving in game. This is a game changer.  There are factors to be considered here, if we were looking at a more practical solution:  - The speed of the non off-road worthy vehicles would have to be drastically reduced on a dirt road or path. - The lack of suspension would have to incur some mechanical damage to the vehicle, rendering it easier to be disabled while driving. - The lack of traction, copied and tweaked (if possible, since I don't know how that works) from the base example of the Double-T. I wasn't sure where to properly post this, since listing all vehicles one by one wouldn't specifically do it for me. What do you guys think?

Yama
I'm 100% for making it harder to take your vehicle up the mountains!
Erwin
I am 100% for making it harder as well unless the car is purposed for it. I personally havenât had any difficult EMS calls but I know Yama has and I feel so bad for him when its constant
Storrent
As long as it makes it harder for LEOs to take their sedan cruisers offroad as well, I'm all for it. I don't want civilian vehicles to be nerfed but still see CVPIs and Chargers gunning it up 30 degree slopes.

While I am 100% for a street vehicle nerf on the mountains, it is for a bit of a selfish reason: I want less people feeling bold enough to take their vehicles up the mountain and falling off a cliffside However, this could be said for EMS as well. I really hesitate to bring this up, but if our ambulances were less adept at off-roading, our EMTs (and I am super guilty of this) would be less intrepid about taking those mountain calls without proper Search & Rescue support.
