SgtMiami
There appears to be some confusion weather players should "know" the name of the person who is sending out the ad, or not know, but know the message. For businesses, it's preferable to be able to just send out the information that you really wanna put out there, for example, the owner of the company sends out an ad for their businesses, but have their assistant's phone number in the ad. If businesses really want the name of the person sending out the ad, they would just put it in the ad. Thoughts?
Tobegande
I totaly get where you are comming from. but the owner beeing responsible for ads dosent work for many of the diffrent buiss styles already in city. Now this does not mean that i dissagree. I myself have been thinking. What if people Employed at a Lisenced buiss has accses to the likes of /buissname(this shoud not remove the option to do personal ads for private carsales... unless a ingame craigslist was made/posible). making it say the Lisenced buiss name instead of the individual posting. There are decent arguments For and against this here is some that i can think of: For: the buiss gets more direct advertisement and more of a buiss feel to the city. People dont have it as easy to cherry pick who they deal with (unsure if this will change) If multiple people work at the same time the ad seems more fitting. Ads for Events will now be able to go under the buiss name. and not displayed by a sertain staff member. Agains People do like to know who they are dealing/Visit with wether its liking or disliking. Having a good reputation as a sales person/person in general will make people come by more when seeing your name. People will not be able to build the same reputation trough ads, its a way to show that you are around and work hard if your name shows alot. The name of the buiss is usualy mentioned in the Ad Regardless if it beeing the "Poster" of the ad. this was just a few i remember in the fast passing. But in my opinion there is nothing that shoud stop us from having Both. /ad and /buisname advertisments. Good Topic to bring up too Edited March 9, 2022 by Tobegande wording change. Yama
I feel that anonymous ads would get abused. That would make it all too easy to impersonate a business or person. Don't like a business, post a scandalous ad using their name, it already happens to some degree on twitter.

I get your point, but people that impersonate another business should get deported. I've never really seen someone impersonating a businesses so they can't be that regular. For Twitter I can see how it can be a common issue, just like it is in real life with people creating bot accounts. This would be implemented for a better experience for everyone. vDrop
-1 ; don't see why they should get deported. They don't impersonate a business because there name is attached to it. Kinda hard to impersonate it when your name is out there. I don't the need.
Budal
+ 1 Remove the character name from ads and if the advertiser wants it there they can put it in the ad. Also to combat scam's, people offering illegal goods and disingenuous advertisements give LEO's the ability to check who paid/ran an ad.
Yama
How about business advertising accounts, that way it would be a verified post from the business and not the individual? Like having a shared twitter account.
Alex Ripley
I feel like if you are employed by a business the name on the ad should change to the business name or abbreviation. Wile if your a private practice business it can keep your name. That is just my opinion
