Drug Investigator Job

I was thinking about a job where you could sign in at the job center and become a drug investigator. You will visit known drug locations and trail cars that have been in those areas and tip off the cops. maybe 300$ paycheck. I would love to see this as a job. You wouldn't be able to arrest people or shoot them unless they start shooting you. You have to follow all laws when doing the job. You may however place someone under citizens arrest if you are observing a crime and no police are on scene at that time. Thoughts?

i think that this is neat, but people could easily meta game with that. one person is on the job saying they are watching it, while their friend sells. then switch. Maybe if it was another option as apposed to EMS or LSPD, maybe. but just as a civ job, not very good in my opinion.

True, maybe strict rules be implemented for the job. You break them you can't access the job anymore.

i agree, but rdm isn't allowed, and it has happened to me twice since Christmas. rules can only do so much. i have seen many people meta game. even when streaming.

if you increase the paycheck for a job that you can get from the job center, we'll have 20 drug investigators running around all the time Otherwise, it's a cool idea but pretty hard to make it work imo.

Yeah makes sense. Probably better off adding a drug agency to the lspd to prevent these issues.

I think this would be a better deal to RP with cops. Get on a higher ups good side and cut a deal with then to be a sort of informant for a reasonable price if drugs are found.
