Timmy Stover
I have an idea of making it like a locker system that Police and DOC can access that are locked to players DL #. When they are done serving their time for the crimes they have committed. They would be able to retrieve the items that DOC/ Police confiscated from them unless it was taken for evidence. They would go the front counter at Boilinbroke, 3rd eye the counter where it say "retrieve confiscated items". When the police or DOC confiscate items from the prisoners, they would use a menu that would open a locker where the items would be stored, Or something like this /locker 123456 (DL #) place items and then when the person would retrieve items from the front desk, then they would have access to their DL # locker.

Yama
+1 makes sense! To build on the idea... I wonder if it would be possible to have that be a tool for lawyers as well, request and retrieve confiscated items during your release process. That would be a cool way to get more interactions and build a relationship between the prisoners and their lawyers. Of course, it can still be a self-service tool for when you can't get your lawyer, but maybe less hoops when you actually connect with a lawyer.
Bartholomew Coates
+1 Would stop a lot of hostility towards DOC just for us following SOP's
NewportReb
As a former lawyer , I like Jay's idea. Neil tried to unofficially do that a few times for clients but most cops wouldnt turn over siezed evidence. Rightfully so IMO. However, if they are taking phones and radios still, that would become extreaming tedious very fast. For stuff like that a automated system would be better. However for larger more significant items such as crew items, patches, rings, etc.... I could see that being way more interesting for lawyers to get back for their clients. Some chain of custody things would have to be worked out and I dont think a simple contract would be the right course. Only cause a lawyers tablet would get filled super fast with tons of docs and it would make it difficult , long term, to find important docs that they would need. Maybe a temp contract or the ability to clear contracts could solve that.
