Sammy Valentino Posted April 2, 2018 Report Share Posted April 2, 2018 A chamber of commerce suggestion: - A completely player ran CoC ofwhich people apply to own a business - 3 Tiers of business: Basic, Executive, Prestige. A basic business would be a part of the business directory, an executive business can pick any place on the map as a business HQ, and Prestige would allow for the same however a paycheck and company car. - It would cost a sum of money as an application fee - Anyone can apply for a business and the CoC can approve/decline anyone. This implementation would be really good as it would make for more ways to make money, I.E a loan company that is CoC approved, security companies, betting companies. ect. One big issue with having other players dictate if someone can own a business is that you may players who will decline someone a license JUST because they simply don't like them. This is a public server and, unfortunately, often times folks allow their personal feelings for someone dictate how they interact with them. You can "own" your own company in an RP manner. Make your own rates, rules, etc. There are already people who give out loans and security companies. The system Speed has been working on should drive folks to RP together with companies. Buying and selling to each other to get a product they need.
