welcome. join the discord server, thats where most of the chatter is nowadays. make sure to go over the server rules and most importantly your citizen rights which are our cities laws (all servers vary on their laws) youll find this server to be welcoming to new players. just get to know the lingo (dont say things like (server, players, etc,) stay in character, and have fun. remember this is an open server, so youll likely find others who are also new, and youll likely run into people that are here just to cause problems, staff are good at handling player reports so hopefully its not that often for you to run into those types. one piece of advice i can give ya, dont take anything personally. whatever is done to your character, keep it in character. dont take it out of the server with you. keep your character and yourself separate. lot of people make that mistake and it just leads to burnout
