bada_mama
Okay so as we all know about 99% of us suck at swimming. Our lung capacity is that of a dead squirrel... realistically I can hold my breath three times longer than Staci can... I would like it if possibly us Badlanders could be able to swim under water just a tad bit longer! ?ââï¸Â
Kota
Or a way to build up attributes like speed, strength and lung capacity would be a great addition. Cuz lets face it I wouldn't have drowned twice on the hide and seek trip otherwise.
Anton
actually as far as i remember the FiveM team just added the possibility of skills not long ago, so there is a good chance that we can finally swim again and do some sweet wheelies on our bmx-es
Merr Khan
I would like to see this, no reason why we should all run the same speed. Cops should have to maintain their stamina and speed perks to be able to catch suspects. Or punch with the same strength. Should add in working out for strength (fighting & cargo), running for speed and stamina - people who drive everywhere will be fat and slow, and swimming to gain more breath under water. Resets anytime you re-spawn.
Salvick
I haven't been trying to swim yet, but now that I know this I wonder if we can still buy diving equipment. It is cool for a role-play server that we have perks to develop, although I must disagree with the idea that cops should "always" run faster and punch harder, because you know not all the cops on every dependency are subject to the same training, specially when there might be rookies who barely graduated from the academy or administrative staff and even the oldest officers and some others that usually patrol the streets driving everyday who are not used to physical routines. Anyways, since we are roleplaying, if you are running away from the cops, even if you run faster than him, you are still expected to roleplay, so you could simply try to stick to whatever you think your character would do in such situation, I'm not sure if I would jump from a first floor balcony to the ground and do a perfect flip in the ground like a professional parkour. I'm glad that we don't have stamina too, because when you respawn without a vehicle and there are no taxis on duty your only option is to run or ride a bicycle if you are lucky enough to find one and I've been playing in a server where every 1 or 2 blocks riding my bike my character was slowed down to 10mph and that became really boring and senseless. Tomas GarcÃa
I agree with having a bit more of underwater time, since at times the controls can get stuck and you can't go up on time. I wouldn't push it too much because then people will exploit it to get away from the cops. Since even in GTAO the skills are not connected and someone that runs for long is able to jump in the water and go under for long just to take a quick breath and keep going over and over. If reality was a videogame, you would have a stamina bar that gets drain by running and going underwater or any other actions, so if you do a long sprint going underwater for long is not even close than if you go underwater after a time been relaxed. I do think that different running speeds and getting tired should be a thing. I been in several on foot chases that were a bit of a joke, because if you run in a straight line it's impossible to catch that person, and since none get tired, it's endless. So getting a bit more technical running, swimming, lung capacity,.. and other skills people want, should be a thing. There should be a base level and a max level. But whatever those are it should always be affected by stamina, which would deplete at different rates based on the actions you are doing and refill only when walking, standing or driving. So the time you have to go underwater for example could be 50 seconds, but since you have been running for quite a while and your stamina is half, you should only be able to go down for 25 seconds. I could elaborate more on this, but I believe @Serpico would kill me for making things complex
