Proposal : implementation of a major bank robbery in Pacific Bank 

Set up : Group / team / single members must obtain a bomb to open the bank vault.  (Cost approx $20,000 - $50,000)  bomb buying location top of Blaine County (near the train tracks there are a series of buildings, one of which can be entered into via a matrix of ladders.  There also must be 6? of police and 1 EMS in order to start the bomb timer.  The bomb should also weigh a significant amount to prevent them from carrying a number of items on their person. 

 

Bank location - the main city bank Pacific Bank in vinewood, there are 2 entry/exit points and various rooms and vantage points for both parties (cops/Robbers)   

 

One robber must place the bomb/thermite on the vault door, total time could be something like 5 min from initiation.  During this time, to prevent trolls and things like that, other store robberies may be disabled. 

After 30 seconds a "silent alarm" sounds to alert police. 

After escaping with money ($500,000) max payout, money must be laundered or cleaned at the oil fields warehouse located just south west of the airfield in the Grand Senora Desert, or other various locations (unsure of ability to offer random spawn locations for drop off points)

Cleaning/dumping money takes 30 seconds and returns 40% of the stolen money as cash for the processor.    

 

In exchange of cash in the robbery, gold could also be used.  Gold might be a better use as it has an associated weight to it. I am unsure of the gold mechanic/weights capacity etc, so if a team of 3 can not carry nearly as much as a team of 4 or 5.  But you wouldn't want to encourage groups exceeding 5.  

A timer might be adjusted so that you can only hit the bank once every 1.5 hours to again prevent trolls and continuous robberies 

 

The money is still an insensitive but it won't ruin the value of the dollar. I believe if you made it 1.5 million or something, it would encourage too many people and it would become a cops and robbers server. the initial investment is quite large but if it pays off for a team of 4 they can earn about 75k each, or if the head organizer wishes to rip off his crew they can walk away with up to $300,000.   The idea of making the bomb a large purchase is to really only get the serious planners involved, anything less than $20k and people really will treat it as a tiny investment and not worry about the outcome. 

 

Another proposal, as a separate suggestion would be to adjust the flight time of a police helicopter to 15-20 mins flight time, ensuring any long duration of police chases would make the air unit have to refuel.

Devs are working on bank heist, although I think it has taken a bit of a back seat for other things that have a higher priority, its something that alot of people want and will one day probably be implemeneted.

Money laundering is also something I think is on the way with businesses, where there will be expansions on the legal/illegal jobs available to civs.
