Store robbery

So me and my 2 friends had planned to rob this store , it took like 30 mins to get all of the stuff together and when we finally robbed the store I only received $1500, is this normal ? If so can you please change it , it seems a complete waste of time and resources ,I spent more than $1500 to set up the robbery. I was expecting more like 10k+ the risk vs reward is extremely unbalanced.

But store robberys pretty much do require a weapon, when you do it like 3 police cars come swarming round the area, and also can you just make it so you have to have a weapon it seems non rp for you to be able to rob a store with just your fists.And it should be a source of income , not a core source but it should at least give you a decent amount of money , why would people risk getting put in jail for barley anything in return , doesn't really makes sense.

 

----ADDITIONAL SUGGESTION----

So there are stores to rob right ,but 2 police need to be online (low risk low reward) so you could add a few higher tier heists like jewelry stores (medium risk medium reward)which require 4 police to be online and a huge bank that requires 6 police to be online (extreme risk extreme reward) this is just a basis of the idea but I think this would add so many more layers to crime and organised crime in the game and it would be lots more fun.

I get your point, and the rewards might change in the future, also there might be more possibilities to rob other buildings. But the thing is, cops also have lots to do other than respond to store robberies, and if the heists become a "source of income" for many players it would mean that the police force would be most of the time busy with that and wont be able to attend to all the other RP situations that require their assistance.

I like this idea of the only thing i think would be a big problem is that people can rob multiple stores at a time this makes it heard for the cops to handle. a lot of the times cops cant go to the stores and stop the robbery because their busy dealing with players. robbed around 3 stores and not a single cop showed up it got to a point where i was on my phone waiting for the time to run out and go to the next. but if you up the amount of cops that need to be on like 6 or more then the i think it would work and that's just for the low robbery's

Ye I didn't really think of that, maybe have it so players can kill you and they get a reward "of the police" or something or maybe noc police span in the help with the robbery (like normal stars in GTA single player) however I feel the second one might decrease rp so I'm not sure.

Well mr. Panzer then i would almost consider you lucky. We attend to most of the robberies unless we have a critical situation that keeps our units busy, so if your intention was some cop action then i suggest you try again(and sorry for not given you that experience yet) And raising the limit to minimum 6 cops online i feel would be abit too much, it's not often we are 6 officers on duty at the same time(hopefully more often in the future though) so people wouldn't be able to rob anything then. 

And for your suggestions Vecsty i must say i'm abit reserved towards the idea of recruiting citizens to help stop robberies and promise them rewards for it, that is something that can take a turn for the worse real quick in my opinion and end up in complete chaos, and how can we be sure the ones who allegedly stopped the robber isn't the robber who had a hostage and killed him to pin the crime on him?

Ye I guess so it was just a quick idea ,this whole topic is confusing but I still feel that my original idea with tiered robberies is a good idea and I think after optimisation on the coooldown , amount of officers online and maybe a few other tweaks it could be a great addition to the server and yes I feel 6 officers to rob a store is a bit much I think 2 is good enough, and when I do rob a store a lot more than 2 come :P

It's an interesting topic. And I would like to add my point of view about it.
- About the citizens helping police, I would say no. Because of what Bob Lee said, it's like a perfect recipe for disaster and drama. 
- About making them more tempting with more profit might lead to too many robberies. The only reason to raise the amount they give is if robberies go down, to motivate players to do it more. RP wise, would make sense that if a store has not been successfully robbed in a while, would have more money than some that was just robbed. Or could be linked to the amount of cops online. But I bet that implementing one or the other might take some work with the scripts.

Wrapping up, It would be cool to have more motivation to rob it if the number of robberies drop, but as it is right now, it's better to let LSPD focus on more RP than just robberies.

I think there would be a cool down on robberies (especially the big ones) so you can only do it every 12 or 24 hours or something
