Tangible Phones

I think there's a lot of RP potential with tangible phones, (purchasable inventory item)
Let me give you a few examples

Criminal
• Have 2 phones, 1 for your day to day and the other to conduct shady business with
• Encourages face to face interaction, so as not to incriminate yourself via text

Law enforcement
• Tied to @Jordan.S idea https://badlandsrp.com/topic/11196-removal-of-jailing-mechanic/ (for reference)
Being able to remove a suspects phone even further reduces the need for such a mechanic
• If search warrants and asset seizures ever become a thing, they could also take your phone and go through it (requires search warrant) and use any information gathered to conduct investigations and set up stings

Misc
• Pass your phone to friends so they can spell check

UPDATED SUGGESTION - Instead of phones being universal, rework phones to work the same as Twitter. Cloud accounts that you can log onto that save your contacts/SMS history. Would open the door for burner phones.
