Kai McKee / MoistGoat
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/pull-out-strap This would pretty much fill the 2 second gap from the moment you try to take out a gun and shoot it. Not sure if it could be triggered without a hotkey, it'd be nice if it worked without it.  EDIT: So I started work on this, and so far it works fine, but Lua is something I'm not good at when it comes to googling for code and implementing GTA's native references. Feel free to pick up this script and continue it, as it'd take me too long to actually get it where it needs to be. Link is here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1y2lT_6BRLnBxv_yPSSAeDuKZ6xSFUmOG Also included notes on stuff that could do with changing and added to original post. vDrop
Looks awesome, but is it possible to only put this effect on Civs? My thought process is when cops pull out, is it going to be from the back? Think it would just be awkward. However, love it.
G0DR4TH
@Drop - According to the videos there are multiple animations and some of them pull the gun from the side
Serpico
This mod requires scripthook, so someone will need to re-write it if its something we want to add. Â
Shush
This would be a really mod to implement. I think this could change the ending of shootouts with the added times, that would be cool for some more rp chances and experiences.

I wasn't making any progress at the stage it's at now, so I essentially just gave up - but there's no point in throwing away something that someone else could fix. It's a short time I've spent with Lua and I hate it already. Â Â
Merr Khan
Anyway we can get this working, I can thoroughly say I know nothing about coding or mods. Anyway this would be cool IMO, Especially the "intimidation" stance. Were an officer can hold their hand over a holstered weapon, and still move around. https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/cop-holster   (Intimidation stance) Edited May 8, 2018 by Merr Khan
