There was also an incident where a suspect tried to dodge jail because they climbed up and wanted to jump unless the cops co-operate. This is dumb RP and cheap RP... In a way, its not valuing your life...   Value of Life A reasonable attempt should be made to preserve your life in any situation. This includes following reasonable demands from a hostile player when there is an indefensible threat to your life. However, if the opportunity presents itself, all players are allowed to defend themselves from hostiles. The millisecond they press "E" and call for a medic, they are no longer role-playing a suicidal character and are just FailRPing for attention, and should be punished for violating VoL. Cant stand suicide rp wen there are no reprocutions. Porkinator Posted June 24, 2018 Report Share Posted June 24, 2018 I would like to see it possibly implemented that when EMS/PD arrive on scene and it is known that they have jumped, either by them saying or on lookers. That the scenario is played out as a death and the patient is transfered to the morgue to go to the light. Is it "unrealistic" to jump from Legion Bank and survive? Sure. But 90% of this community will do something "unrealistic" at some point in their time here on Badlands. We shouldn't dictate nor judge how others choose to RP. I know "suicides" can be annoying for both PD and EMS, but we all should've know what we were signing up for. Would you rather attempt to rp with a suicide situation and offer to get them help and even take them to a therapist office? Or would you rather keep going to Legion to revive the same folks who are always getting downed and NO ONE seems to know why? A kind of mechanic that allows the EMS/Police to âexamine patientâ before threating. It was some kind of messages like âSeems like the victim got hit by a carâ. Could do it on locals too. Could work some nice confusing or even accurate messages. It could even help the cops when they arenât witnesses of the crime, giving them another hint about the scene! There seems to be more of the legion suicides than the other sadly. I dont know if there is a balance to this as all players are entilted to calling EMS, no matter their actions *within rp*.
