  1. Hey, So one of the new super cars in town is the Entity MT. This car is based of the Koeningsegg Jesko (absolut, and attack) In real life the car has reached a top speed of 330 mph. while in the city it only does 175mph... on the highway. And for example the overflod Tyrant (what I heard) went over 200mph, on the highway. while this car is based of the Apollo Arrow, and that car highest speed is 224mph. What im asking is.. is it possible to have the Enity MT, go faster than 175mph. I am not asking the car to reach 300mph.. but atleast maybe a 220mph would be nice.. (offcourse if possible) I just think the car deserves more than 175mph. I hope I gave you enough information, and I hope to see a reaction. Thanks for reading my suggetion, have a good day! Well, recently i noticed there's no engine sound when you start a car, the vehicle just goes on without initiation or "vroom" if i might say and since i'm interested in tuning and modifying vehicles, this issue kind of bothering me a bit i hope it gets fixed i guess. and i understand if that have been removed for technical reasons but i really want to know why :). also i might just be missing something lol.
  3. As you may have noticed, the mafia presence within the city has grown quite significantly recently with multiple mafias now existing in the city. However, outside of pistols, there aren't weapons that are the kind you would see used by mafia style organisations. My suggestion is to make the Thompson SMG (gusenberg sweeper in gta) available somehow to use. It would not need to be added since it is already available in the base game. In terms of balance within the city, the sweeper has very similar stats to the AK which is already in the city. It uses .45 acp ammunition which already exists within the city. If you look up images of mafias and mafia depictions they almost always have a Thompson. It is signature to their style as much as the suits and fedora hats. This would add variety to the weapons used in city as most gunfights are pistol mk2s or AKs. With another competitor to the AK’s status there will be more interesting gunfights with more variety.
  4. I suggest adding a legit lottery tickets system, and provide it at the retail stores and gas stations, thank you.
  5. So being a cop, we are able to run plates at MRPD or by using the VIN feature. When running a plate on a vehicle that is stolen from a local, it says that there is no VIN number found. I think that every vehicle should be 'registered' to someone in the city local or not. For example, John steals a car that was parked outside of burgershot. He gets caught speeding in that vehicle and the plates get run to ensure the vehicle is registered to John. The vehicle plate is ran and it comes back to 'Kelly Moss' (random generated name). I am probably making a mess of this explanation and this probably won't come to the server however I think each local vehicle should be randomly registered to a name. It's so easy for cops to identify if a vehicle is stolen if no VIN is found but I feel like having each vehicle come back to a name can allow for some more potential RP on investigating the origin of the car and it's owner.  Be great to hear some feedback and discussion on this and see what others think. Although this isn't a HUGE COOL change I think it is a neat QoL change that could be implemented. I probably messed up the wording for this suggestion but hopefully you know what I mean..
  6. Yes, Trucking has been among us for a long time now, but to be fair it's getting old and could use some new features and quality of life updates. So here is going to be a list of things I would love to see for trucking. Player Owner Trailers: This feature had been mentioned in the past by people, how cool would it be if you could own your own trailer and accept contracts from companies to deliver goods, these could be system based or player owned businesses requesting goods delivered to their location. This would also mean that cops have the ability to search trailers for illegal goods e.g drug trafficking, this feature def is my personal favourite. Adding to the system contracts, there could be a tab on the tablet where contracts are displayed and claimed by truck drivers. More Drop Of Locations: So at this point I'm pretty sure everyone that has done trucking can pretty much predict where they have to drive to just by their current location and miles they have to drive. I mean the map is big enough for more, and I mean way more drop off locations. More Pick Up Locations And Change Some: So there isn't many truck job start locations, and there is quite a lot of locations on the map that have trailers on their property or trucks parked nearby. For instance the factory area near the ore smeltery. One other suggestion I had was the one in Paleto Bay, currently it is located in a construction zone, which makes no sense, it would make more sense for it to be at the Clucking Bell Factory. The Payment System: So right now the amount of money you get payed is based on the amount of miles you have to drive, however it would make way more sense to have it be mile based + trailer based, for instance the Ron trailer (gas) is really heavy and makes you truck go really slow. So a higher payment for this trailer would be nice. With the system contracts I mentioned earlier there of course would be different payments for different contracts. I personally think these features could really make the job more interesting and way more fun and as jobs improve like the garbage job, it would fit into the modern system way better. It would also encourage more RP within companies and businesses and possibly cause some distribution companies to form as well. Anyways let me know what you think about this.
  7. Okay so we are in 2.0. Everything is pretty cool, the M menu, the voip, the new police station and hospital.. However something is missing. Right! IÂ know what. So right now the robbery system is pretty simple and straight forward, but what if the robbery was skill based, let me explain it. How it will work is like usual you will need a lock pick, in the store there will be a vault. Once you walk up to the vault you can start lock picking the it. This will not trigger the cops right away, a user interface will pop up giving you the real life version of picking a lock, this will take precision and patients. Do it too fast and you will trigger the silent alarm which notifies the cops, do it right and you will get the vault open. So can you just walk out with the money now without having any cops on your ass? No, that would be too OP and no fun either. Once you successfully opened the vault (maybe make it open the vault door for real) the silent alarm will be triggered and the cops will be notified, now you will have to grab the bag on your back (more about this later), put it down, and take the money from the vault (depending how much money the vault has the longer it takes for you to finish taking the money). Once you got everything, closed the bag, wiped the sweat of your forehead you can run out of the store and take off in your car, or get arrested by the officers of the law. So.. Requirements: - Lock pick - Duffel Bag Estimated time for (job) :Â min. 15 minutes Amount of fun for both robber and cops: 10/10
  8. I see a lot of ads including my own being unusefull due to people leaving/rejoining/crash/ooc (okay, yes you can mute ooc but that is a personal thimg i guess). Sometimes your ad doesnt even last 5 secconds, sometimes its there for 30 minutes. What if ads are moved to twitter, like having an ad on you phone on the top. And if there are multiple active ads, people see the ads changing every few secconds. This way, ads are more in a realistic way and they are even anoying you when you dont want to, like real ads!!! Also if the owner of the ad wants to delete it, it should be able to do so. Also if the owner of the ad DC it should automaticly being removed from the twitter ad banner.  What are your thoughts on this??Â
  9. I would love to see different ways to do trucking. For example use the current trucking missions, for new truckers. However, give them the option to buy their own trailer. (wouldn't be cheep). Could give them more options here, with a tanker or normal trailer, flat bed, ect.) This would add so much to this career. When someone uses their own trailer, the missions change. Now you can go to a store, buy/order bulk items that will fill your trailer. The catch here is, you have to pay for the items. However, because there is much more of an investment and risk coming from the driver. The pay should be much better than it is currently. Think like the delivery missions, but in bulk, because your investment and risk is so much higher, you should get a higher percentage in return per item sold. Could set it up, so one mission might take you across the whole map, to sell everything in your full trailer. While others might have you buy different products, and you need make 2-5 stops with one trailer load. This would also be very scale able. However not broken. This should very profitable, due to the high risk and investment. If you're not sure the risk I'm talking about, its the fact that if your trailer gets destroyed or you die, you lose everything in that trailer. So if you invested 50k - 100k in the product in the trailer, you'd lose all of it. That's a lot of money to put on the line. However, make it to your destination and sell your inventory, maybe make somewhere between 110k - 220k in gross. (This would need to be balanced, just an example.) I think the ability to buy your own trailer, then invest more by buying product, would add so much to this job for the better! As of right now i make 15-30k per hour in trucking. For the 125k investment, I feel this is a bit low. However having more options to increase my potential earnings per hour would be amazing. And add some decision making.
  10. Hunting is one of the hardest activities. I've spent nearly 3 hours hunting rabbit without ever seeing 1. I was supposed to get 11 Rabbit meat. Deer hunting is a little easier, but still very hard and not worth much profit at all. Considering the amount of deer that need to be killed, the time it takes to kill them, and the reward for doing so. Maybe being able to pick what you want to hunt could be a good start, but I'd like to see the spawns for the animals be upped drastically. -Thanks

Disclaimer: I searched the forum using the search function in the top right and couldn't find any suggestions related to this, though I am fairly sure I am not the first to think of this TLDR: Suggestion post, suggesting the addition of a job selling stolen NPC cars. Â Dear friends, I for one really love jobs that don't require a set way of handling, so jobs that don't make you go from A (peach field) to B (peach seller). This is why I would very much like to see the addition of a job along the lines of selling stolen cars. As of now, lockpicks have a fairly low use rate (from my experience), there is also no real reason to steal cars other than if it's not able to be purchased from the dealer. This is why I would suggest a chop shop, where stolen cars can be stripped of their valuable parts and sold on the black market (not the actual player shop but the .... imaginary black market). This would enable players to steal cars from anywhere on the map and sell them on location B (the chop shop). Eliminating point A (something like the peach field marker) from the process. Revenue from this job should either vary based on the number of parts that the shop is getting (which might be hard to implement) or only give decent money for supercars and old-timers (the latter being the best). Since the sentence of GTA (the crime not the game) is not the highest neither should the pay, just enough to tempt people into stealing cars that are expensive (since these might be worth the time). Now talk mechanics, I was unable to find a script that does this but I have seen similar jobs on multiple servers. So I think they are out there, but I am just not sure where to look for them. To make it fair for the cops and maybe a way to increase the pay somewhat I've made some bullet points: It is impossible to sell player owned cars, even if its the players own car. (maybe refuse customised cars since these used to belong to players) Chopping up the car takes time, the better the car the longer it takes. During this time cops can still charge players with GTA even if they are not seated in the car themselves. (optional) - Selling the same car (or cars that are common) gives less cash every time (or none) {to stop people from stealing cars next to the chop shop to grind quick cash} (optional) - Cars can only be sold in 100% durability {stops people from driving like morons or force them to fix their cars before getting money for it} Other things to consider are: How do people get away from the chop shop if they just sold their ride? (free bike? Ride from a friend? Walk to nearest garage?) Is there only one chop shop or are there more? (maybe one in Poleto, though that would be hard to patrol for officers) I think this pretty much covers my thoughts on the subject and thereby the end of the suggestion. I have linked two pictures below that show a possible suitable location, though the two remarks above this line do stay valid remarks. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope we can get a useful discussion below here and maybe a response of a dev that could say if this is feasible and if so elaborate a bit other than "maybe in the future".   12. Our current policy, for VDM, reads: VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) Do not use your vehicle as a weapon against other players or vehicles. Intentionally ramming player vehicles, occupied or not, is considered VDM. I can understand and appreciate the rule as it sits. It protects the general population from being victims of vehicular manslaughter or becoming roadkill. I get it. However I think there could be an extension made to this policy that would exclude any wrongdoing if a person deliberately gets in the way of a vehicle. This would also, by default, prevent any player from abusing our current policy to take advantage of any given situation. As it sits, a person can block something off and prevent access. They could also block an escape route. They could block traffic if they wanted to. There's a number of possibilities here. If a person tries to push / nudge / drive their way through then the person blocking could claim VDM despite the fact that they willingly made a choice to put themselves in front of a vehicle and harms way. (Side note; value of life observation here, by chance?) I think a simple expansion could alleviate this. If John Doe willingly puts himself in front of a vehicle (and it can be proven that he made that choice) then there should be reasonable grounds to void any claim of VDM if they become hurt or worse by making that choice.

Hi guys, I've been going over the past suggestions to look for anything similar to what I though of and this popped: I believe this, with an integration of a "radio server" can help us establish a radio station that players can listen to around the cities. We would have an actual radio show that airs on specific times with radio host(s). People can call in, share thoughts, comments and other fun stuff that will help spread knowledge around the cities and encourage people to interact and communicate. Currently, the only news source we have is Weasel News which only covers basic RPing by having people running around with a camera and a mic in case of an event. What I thought about is getting live, share direct news with everyone and much more by actually covering the scene on radio, through voice for all people around the cities in their vehicles or what so ever... Maybe this can fall under Weasel News too?
  14. I don't know if it's a bug or the bike is just that weak. I just bought the avarus chopper and it's an awesome bike. It has some drawbacks but the one I'm most concerned with is it's durability. I've been sitting at a red light and take a hit from a local and it will smoke the bike out and that's coming off a fresh "rebuild". I just feel like something is wrong with it.  -Thanks
  15. My idea is to make 2 jobs out of towing and mechanics. Tow duty: You drive to the calls pickup the broken down car tow it to the shop or give it a temp fix .. resulting in the client to pay the tow driver for what was done. Mechanic: They are only on duty while at the current shop they choose to work from.. "sign in as mechanic at the chosen shop" if they leave that shops set area they will be auto clocked off as a mechanic. would also help with people being on as mechanic not doing the work. any other suggestions to this would be great.

I can't speak for everyone but it seems, as of late (the past few weeks), I have witnessed more instances of people clocking in as a tow truck driver while not actually RPing as such (tow truck driver / "mechanic"). Sometimes this can mean that folks pay a mere $1,000 or $1,500 to repair their vehicle themselves. Other times it has been as high as $3,500 - $4,000 (6 - 7 "mechanics" on the clock). Could we change this city job to something that has a little bit more restriction to it? Perhaps a clock in / clock out mechanic similar to the mine or winery? If this wouldn't work, is there anything we could do to tighten the reigns on this type of.... negligence? Â
  17. as you may recall i requested a garage near jamestown some time back and it was pretty much shot out of the water, but it spawned another idea for for possible business related rentals. RENTAL GARAGES, it goes like this on some of the more abstract spots for parking garages like grove street, mirror park, the airport, and maybe 1 or 2 others, in addition to a few more locations where it makes sense for there to be additional garages. you could have garages, the people could rent for say 5000 dollars (just an example) and they get say 250 -500 for each car that gets pulled out of that location and they have to pull out of a safe similar to the convenient stores, when the garages aren't rented out they can shut down or something and then the incentive for people to go out of there way to use theses garages would be a reduced fee full pulling vehicles out like 50% of the normal rate of standard garages(just an example). it gives some potential for rp, more reasons to strive for owning a business, along with some other stuff depending on the location.

A friend and I thought about this awhile ago, I explained it in the discord and everyone said to put it here, so I will try to explain the suggestion idea here: What if there where chop shops, where if you unfortunately left your car ON and unlocked, or someone picked the lock, that a thief could take your car and drive it to a chop shop. Where once you are at a chop shop, it would be similar to robbing a store and it would announce it for either cops, or the car owner to come and stop you. If they fail to stop the chop the chopper would make money and the car would be destroyed until the storm comes. Why is this a good idea? It would add a reason to steal players car, along side an added risk of leaving your cars out and about. I've seen civilians take out lots of cars and leave them everywhere until the wipe where after the wipe they will pull them out again. Don't care about your car? People will make money from it, be more careful, be sure to lock and shut it down. Keep an eye on twitter or you might be losing a car for a storm.
  19. there are quite a few vagos and lately a few different gangs that want to start beef with the vagos which is where this request stems from since the closest garage to our usual stomping grounds is smack dab in the middle of grove street which is a bit of a risky plight for us Vagos when stuff is going down. > just north of the jamestown apartment complex on carson ave is a little parking area next to a blue office, and i feel like this would be a good neutral ground location for a garage that would be closer and safer for the vagos when gang rp is going full swing. . as it stands we got the ballers and davis boys(green) with their own garage essentially, the mirror park crips with one in their territory, and the bikers with the one at the casino next to their clubhouse. of the gangs I'm aware of the vagos are the only ones that don't seem to have access to a garage within their territory so i've decided to write this suggestion/request and include photo's of the locaiton im talking about. and the map view

  21. Hey! I have recently joined one of the Badlands RP servers and I'm loving it! However I have a suggestion that I think would be beneficial. Legal jobs are nice because of the low risk and can provide a steady income, just time consuming. However the Illegal jobs are very high risk and produce about the same amount of money as the gold. I know the meth lab is mobile adn is 1:1 as the gold is mine, refine, then sell. I just find it frustrating spending 65,000 and trying to hide and risk a lot of time and money for the same amount of pay. I'm not asking for a big huge buff to the price of drugs, just a little more. Meth averages about $160 for one and I think you should be able to sell it for $300 at least. You have to walk around and sell it and hustle it too which is more time, gold you just sit there and the money comes. Maybe bringing the meth dealer back instead of individually selling could make the illegal jobs more profitable and worth it.Â
  22. In another server I played on there was a button ( , ) to ragdoll, and a button to unragdoll ( . ) from anything your doing, (other than driving inside a vehicle.) I think it added a lot to the game and made a lot of good rp scenarios, (As well as saving me from accidently punching someone, I just ragdoll out and say I tripped.) Â
  23. Hey everybody, Might it be an idea to dedicate part of the forum to IC things such as business introduction (possibly according to a format) and a place to announce events? I don't know if there already is a place for such things but an actual formal list of businesses/(gangs?) in town might be useful. Also, a place to announce server-wide events might be fun though this could be done in-game as well. (like 'the sandy shores dirtbike race 6/11/2017 dd/mm/yyyy - or something along the lines of that).
  24. Hey everyone, This is a suggestion and kind of a community poll to see if it is actually needed. I am talking of course of a teleport that puts you into the Bahama (west) Mamas. It is not necessary at all but it would be a quality of life improvement that is most likely not as much development work (that being said, what do I know). I have three pictures below that help with clearing up any misunderstanding. First one, well that one is just for fun. Second and third one are the places a teleport marker should be placed that teleports you to the other side of the door.
