Now this may just look like ideas for a hardcore server, but my plan behind this post is to present ideas which could be used in a hardcore server or a more relaxed RP server which is based more around jobs to earn money rather then just criminal activity. Some of these jobs have been mentioned before, I am just pasting the list I have had sitting on my computer. I have decided to bring them up with ideas of how the process could be implemented or altered. Not all of these maybe possible on how they have been mentioned but just getting my ideas out there. ----- Misc ----- Non Static Economy - Prices and Job pay adjusts as more people do that specific job.\ Department of Motor Vehicles Allows the user to purchase licenses. (They would be found on a seperate menu.) Fishing Boating Firearm Hunting Drivers License CDL License When a cop searches the person they can view the persons licenses. ----- Jobs ----- Fishing Go to a dock, pull out your boat of choice, go far out and start fishing using the net on your tug boat* or use a fishing rod. Far off the coast, the use of a fishing rod highly increases the chance of collecting rare more expensive fish than fishing by the shore. Using the Fishing boat increases the rate of collection at the cost of finding more common fish. Vehicles Tug Boat (Unsure since its a GTA Online only Vehicle) Only Boat to be used for net fishing. All other water craft that you can stand on, will allow you to fish from. ----- Farming Can be broken down into multiple types of jobs. Plowing fields to gathering grapes from the vineyard to create wine. Vehicles FieldMaster (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Trailer (Rake) can only attach to Fieldmaster spawned in for plowing missions and returned to recieve paycheck. ----- Hunting Quite simple, drive around the wilderness and hunt animals, collect their pelt, meat and antlers and return to town to sell/process. Depending on your location. The following weapons could be legal in one area while illegal in others. (Dependent on future police thoughts) Musket (Long Rifle Used for the Purpose of Hunting) Bought only at Guns & Ammo but could also be used to fight with. Knife (May not have animation but used/needed to gut the animal to collect meats/antlers/pelt) Bought only at Guns & Ammo Switchblade if possible could replace the knife from Ammunation stores. ----- Passanger Transportation These are based more on NPCs being able to enter and exit your vehicle. Based on vehicle speed and damage to your vehicle can result in lower pay, it none at all. Vehicles Tour Bus - Scenic views of downtown from Del Perro all the way to downtown Vinewood. Including Vinewood Sign. Each complete trip results in a pay check on completion. (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Dashound (Coach Bus) - Used to move large amounts of people around to scenic locations. Each trip results in a pay check on completion. (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) City Bus - Used on a bus route to pick up/drop off. Each stop results in a pay amount. (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ----- Sanitation Worker Locations chosen around the city will be selected, go to the specific number of locations to fill your truck and return your truck to the dump/land fill location. (Location to be determined) Once mission is complete you will receive money and then receive your next route shortly. Vehicle Trashmaster (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ----- Quary Job Not 100% sure how this could work, using the two provided vehicles during the job time frame you would either transport or move materials from one quarry to another. Vehicles Dozer (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Despawns or locks itself after mission ends, which can not be lock picked. Dump (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ^^^ ----- Plane Mission Transportation of players or civilians to specific locations around the map for cash. Upfront payment for insurance on plane. Returned when flight is complete. Due to the limit of only one person in cockpit could be used for smuggling type missions to bring illegal firearms/items into the state which with limited quantity could be bought from black market. Vehicle Dodo (Pontoon Plane)(Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Can land on the water or airport. ----- Tow Trucking ** This has been mentioned before, tow truck operator will get alerted when EMS or Police request that a vehicle be impounded. They will get the vehicle location and all options for that vehicle to be driven are disabled. Tow truck operator shows up, attaches the vehicle to their truck and then proceeds to the impound yard in Rancho, if within city limits or to a lot in either sandy shores or Paleto Bay if outside the city. Once a vehicle is delivered it can either sit at that location if the user is still online or cleaned up if the user is not online. Cash is awarded per car returned to one of the lots. However if no Tow Truck Operator is online police and ems may still impound vehicles into the nether. Vehicles Tow Truck (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Flatbed (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Metioned before but police or ems would but a request in for a vehicle, the vehicle will be marked for pick up and locked, one of the few tow truck operators on duty will get a request with the cars locations. They pick up/attach the vehicle to the truck and proceed to the police impound yard, when a vehicle is delivered they recieve their cash. ----- Friegt Delivery & Trucking Terminal/Elysian Island Docks - Go to location and pick up your cargo, either it be added inside your truck or a trailer. Drive to location to drop off trailer or to multiple stops if using a cargo truck. Cabs used with Job Trailers Phantom (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Can buy a trailer to be used for Personal Storage and hauled around. Packer (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ^^^ Hauler (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ^^^ Used for Multiple Deliverys Benson (Short Deliveries to businesses/homes) Can be used for Personal Storage Pounder (Short Deliveries to businesses/homes) ^^^ Mule (Short Deliveries to businesses/homes) ^^^ Mail Delivery Jobs Similar to the two mentioned above however you deliver packages to homes instead of delivering to businesses. Go Postal Van (Boxville) Can be used for Personal Storage Post (Boxville) ^^^ ----- Dock Worker * If able to attach a contain to it, you could have transportation missions around the docks. Moving container from one location to another. Simulate moving containers to be used later for Frieght Missions. Vehicles Dock Handler (Cargo Container Mover) (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Dock Tug (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) Forklift (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ----- Delivery Man (Food Delivery/Door to Door Service) **Currently in game. Mechanique would not change much. Personal Vehicle would be used. However I would like to see you go to the business you work for to collect the food instead of picking up the food from the store. Lower the amount recieved since there is no out of pocket up front cost and more driving involved. ----- Underwater Exploration User would buy one of the underwater submersible vehicles. They would explore the ocean floor and collect scientific data. Once data is collected the user would return to the surface, and then proceed to return the information to the research facility east of Sandy Shores. Vehicles Kraken (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) *Could hold storage for the user to collect more scientific data before returning. Submersible (Vehicle Job Only - No Inventory Space) ^^^ ----- Emergency Services ----- Would be intersting if medics could fully restore a person's vitals. If a person is revived by either an officer or a civilian they would require the user to either seek medical assistance from an EMT/Fifre/Life Guard to fully restore their health or a bleedout timer if they do not recieve it, and collapse once again. ** Zero Ideas for Structure ** Fire Department Preforms medical treatment if no EMT is avaliable, repairing cars, and putting out vehicle fires. Vehicles Firetruck Granger with Lights or custom truck with Lights (Reskinned for Fire) EMT Preforms medical treatment to individuals all across the state. Vehicles Ambulance Granger/SUV with Lights (Reskinned for EMS) EMS Maverick (Helicopter if they might exist in the future) - Used for Remote Revives/Transport back to hospital for full health restoration. Lifeguard Designed to preform any medical activity near the coast or in the open water. Mostly the west coast line. Vehicles Lifeguard Quadbike Lifeguard SUV Seashark Life (Jet Ski) ----- Law Enforcement ----- Went a little crazy and maybe over done for a non hard core Role Play community, but seemed like a decent idea after chatting with a few of the current officers. There wouldn't be many officers in the upper ranks of the forces. This is more of a structure for the future if the community continues to grow and either server cap is increased or multiple servers are put up.  Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) Juristiction anywhere inside the City of Los Santos. Rank Officer(##) - Most common police rank. A large portion of the police force will consist of this rank. Detective(5-10) - Limited selection of officers who can be this rank. Officers may go undercover and patrol in plain clothes. Sergeant (2/3) - In charge of on boarding any new police officer that wishes to transfer from the Sheriff's Department. Lieutenant (1/2) - Disciplinary reports/internal affairs for any member of the Los Santos Police Department. May Interview candidates to directly join the LSPD without becoming a Sheriff first. Captain (1) - In charge of the LSPD and deals with disciplinary reports/internal affairs to any LSPD member. Consults with the Director of the FIB and Captain of the LSSD to determine laws across the state. Vehicles Police Car (Police 1) - Officer Police Transport - Officer Predator (Boat) - Officer Police Buffalo (Police 2) - Detective Unmarked Cruiser (UC Car) - Detective Sheriff SUV (Reskinned for LSPD Instead of LSSD) - Officer Interceptor (Police 3) - Sergeant Police Maverick (Reskinned/If Helicopters might exist) - Sergeant Police Riot - Lieutenant or Above (Major Heists etc. Bank Robberies) ----- Los Santos County Sheriff (LSSD) Jurisdiction anywhere outside of the City of Los Santos. Ranks Deputy Sheriff(##) - The first rank for most police officer. When they are accepted they are a probationary officer of the LSSD. Limited to any where LSSD has jurisdiction. Once probation period is over the officer may take a job opening in the LSPD or stay part of the LSSD and be promoted to Senior Deputy Sheriff. Senior Deputy Sheriff(##) - Officers who wish to stay part of the LSSD instead of transferring over to LSPD department. Sergeant(2/3) - In charge of on boarding any new police officer that may want to join the police force. Walking them through how to be an officer. Lieutenant(1/2) - Interviewing candidates for the police force. Disciplinary reports/internal affairs for any member of the County Sheriff Department. Captain(1) - In charge of the LSSD and disciplinary reports/internal affairs to any LSSD member. Consults with the Director of the FIB and Captain of the LSPD to determine laws across the state. Vehicles Sheriff Cruiser - Deputy Sheriff Police Bike - Senior Deputy Sheriff Park Ranger SUV (Reskinned for LSSD instead of Park Services) - Senior Deputy Sheriff Predator (Boat) - Senior Deputy Sheriff Police Maverick (Reskinned for LSSD ** If Helicopters might exist) - Sergeant or Above. ----- Federal Investigation Bureau (FIB) Close knit group of federal agents. May rarely find more than one or two online. Positions are limited and will require high role play ability. Members of the FIB may be in plain clothes at all time or uniform. May be picked from Sergeant rank or above from another department to join the FIB. Ranks Agent(4-6) - Jurisdiction across the whole state to charge for crimes but does not have the ability to investigate businesses. Special Agent(3-4) - Jurisdiction across the whole state and can investigate into businesses that launder money from banks or other future gang activities. Director(1) - In charge of the FIB and deals will all disciplinary reports to an FIB member. Consults with the Captain of both the Sheriff Department and LSPD to determine laws across the state. I don't want to spoil anything that we having coming in the future but I will say that I like the ideas! We plan to add more jobs and expand on current ones, there could be economy changes down the road after we finalize and balance the current state of economy. The Police/EMS stuff will be expanded when (hopefully) fivem supports a larger amount of players per server.
