Gang Registry

I have been thinking why isn't there a place on the forums for gang registry. It could be controlled by the gangs themselves to prevent staff from having to go through and babysiting it themselves. 

Below is a very rough example of what I would post but want to make sure something like this A. Would be actually used.  B. Would be alright with the staff team. 


 

Just a place where you can come and post your gang/club name and members.

Example

Gang Name - Gang gang


Members -

John doe (ID) - Leader
Jane doe (ID) - soldier 

Try to keep this updated as much as possible.

I like this idea, additionally, would want to one day see some WL gangs (GTA law etc. Lost, Vagos, Ballas)

Ideally, I would want Whitelisted gangs but that is a pipe dream until it does or doesn't happen.

gangs.....can we call them groups or crews or something nicer then gangs.....also kinda dont like this idea unless it comes with some additional in game adds

What kind of In game adds would you like to see to have a Gang (aka group, crew, club) have? This is just more or less a registry idea so that when people decided to start groups and then try to impersonate them in the city it doesnt give the group a bad name.

Well maybe we can have group rep.... How many members and how active the group is. The higher the rep, the more things the group has in the city. Crew Clothes, Crew Car Decals, Crew Building, Crew Business, Crew Chat, Crew Tags. Things like that would make being in a group more immersive, and all groups have RP especially active ones

Define "rep". Sounds like a lot of micromanagement that staff will not want to do.

rep as is reputation that is automatically calculated by the amount of members in your crew, and the activeness of that crew. The more members and more active, then the higher your reputation. Staff wouldn't have to do anything, its all computer calculated.

 Of course staff would have to monitor it. 

In your suggestion, sounds like the best way to would to be just 1 big gang. I don't like this idea, sorry.

Perhaps the groups feature of the forums could be re-utilized for this? I dont see people using the groups feature that often, then again i dont really pay attention to them.

Yeah true, Everyone being in one big gang would prob happen tbh, although having benefits for members and activity would be cool, matching shirts, car decyls that only that gang can have because its active, and large. Idk....the idea could use some work, but the base idea is there.
