BrandonM
Shorthand, easy version: Add heist bags, backpacks, and parachutes to clothing store. Bonus: Make heist bags and backpacks purchasable. Have them expand storage capacity by 50kg if worn. vDrop
Definitely agree, if Heist Bags, or Back Packs are available, "slight" character movement should be effected, think 40% is a bit high, but I'm not even sure what 40% would be even mean, lol
Johan
Imo it is enough that you have 60kg space in your pockets. Because that is already really unrealistic, maybe if you had like 10kg default space in pockets and then if you want to get more you have to buy a backbag and with that you can get the full 60kg, but that would need so many changes so I donât see point in waisitn time on that tho. Anton
I would lower the default capacity by a lot if backpacks would be added.

Itâs totally fine. Itâs like - if you donât like being slow donât get one.

Serpico
Youâre not getting an extra 50kg of storage.
BrandonM
How about an extra 20kg?

Anton
how about 10kg default capacity. 60kg and no running with backpack? so backpack would add the 50kg and disable running. no one should be running with 60kg weight

Storrent
The issue with reducing default carry capacity is potentially interfering with police work, since officers have to carry a lot more on them than citizens (GSR kits, medkits, pills, repair kits) and the trunks can only store so much and heavily reduce convenience, especially if your vehicle is out of reach or destroyed. I feel like this is a case of gameplay having to come before realism for the sake of convenience
Anton
nobody HAS TO carry anything, we just got used to it, that we can

Just throwing out ideas. And like Anton said, you donât HAVE TO. Most of that stuff you mentioined could easily be carried in the trunk.  Only problem I see with this is those harvesting jobs that we have. And even that really isnât a problem because you can just carry a backpack when you go to do gold runs.  But I canât believe this being added because then Serpico wasted a lot of time on coding the gym, unless it getâs some kind of different use. SgtMiami
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/backpack-inventory There should be buy-able backpacks that can increase the amount of things you can carry in your inventory. I don't think it'd be complicated to accomplish. If "backpack_name", then "+40kg_inventory"
Alex Ripley
what if you add backpacks as a cosmetic thing
