[uDi]uncle_walter87
Throwing this out there for LSPD RP: a workable spotlight on the cars. For the purpose of RP, it would be interesting. For example, last night Jeff Wills & I were out on the Grove Street apartments on a drug call. It would have been kinda neat to roll through there checking the little nooks and crannies with the spotlight. Or to use it to "light up" the driver's side mirror, as is done on traffic stops IRL. I know LCPDFR had an add-on for it, but I'm completely oblivious as to whether or not it could be implemented on FiveM. Thanks for your time!
[uDi]uncle_walter87
As a followup, I see that there has been one released for GTAV (by the same gentleman who made the script for IV). But I don't know if add-ons like this are allowed on the Badlands Server. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7922-spotlight/

ImVexal
I don't know if you mean the same thing but if you hit H for full beam it lights the spot light up you can't manually move it though, just the direction your vehicle is facing is illuminated further. [uDi]uncle_walter87
Sure. I've used the high beams before. I just was unsure if this was something we could use if we wanted to.
AtomicGinger
If this is possible it could add a bit more immersion to night patrolling.
ImVexal
It is a cool suggestion. Especially the one you suggested that can actually operated!
[uDi]uncle_walter87
Who should be contacted to see if this would be an appropriate/approved mod?
Serpico
The mod posted is not compatible. It requires ragehook. I believe its possible to put a fixed spot light.

vDrop
Evening, https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7922-spotlight/ Again, I'm terrible with what we can use, or cannot use. I always forget what code your specifically looking for. Was curious if this is available for Badlands to use, or if this was only a feature for Single player. Was hoping for some feedback, and thoughts?
BlackMagic0
+1 extremely useful for RP at night. Since even if I see them it's dark and I'd feel a lot better 'catching' someone with a light to arrest them. Also for those vision modders. It's dark as hell. [uDi]uncle_walter87
As an aside, how do we keep our high beams on when we exit the vehicle? I like utilizing the takedowns on night shift, but as soon as I exit the car, they go off.

It's a quirk with GTA, I believe, nothing the devs can do.
